    1. Activities, Outings & Community Access

         Accompanying a person to activities of their choice, including social or community related activities.

 

    2. Home Maintenance

         Minor repairs in homes which don’t require a trade qualification.

            For example, changing light bulbs, changing batteries in smoke detectors, minor repairs to furniture, fixing cupboard doors, etc.

 

3. Companionship

Providing social support to a person in their home or in the community.

 

3.Light Gardening

Light gardening, including weeding, cutting lawns, planting, and clearing small plants from gardens.

 

4. Light Housework

Light housework, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, and washing floors.

 

5. Meal Preparation

Assisting with meal preparation for someone.

This does NOT include preparing meals for people with swallowing or chewing requirements or complex diets.

 

6. Personal Assistant (Admin)

Assisting with daily organisation of reminders, calendar management, appointments, correspondence, and other general administrative tasks.

 

6. Shopping

Either accompanying a person to the shop or shopping for them in accordance with the person’s needs and any specific care plan.

 

7. Sports and Exercise

Assisting a person with community sports, fitness, and daily exercise.
